Grace und Kate kommen beide leicht verspätet rein und setzen sich schnell.

Kate: Ich setzte mich auf einen freien Stuhl, ohne zu schauen, wen ich denn da neben mir sitzen hatte. Das Mädchen hatte rötliche Haare und sah eigentlich ganz nett aus. Ich grinste sie an und fragte flüsternd: "Hab' ich etwas wichtiges verpasst?"

Grace: Ich schmiss meine Tasche in eine Ecke ohne rücksicht auf den Inhalt zu machen. Es war mir peinlich, dass ich schon wieder zu spät gekommen war, sehr peinlich. "Tut mir leid.", kam es leise aus meinen Mund. Ich kauerte mich auf meinem Stuhl neben Kitty zusammen und sah die anderen an.
