Irgendwie tat sie mir leid. Es war bestimmt nicht leicht wegzuziehen. Oder irgendwo hinzuziehen. War ja eigentlich genau das gleiche, aber egal. Als sie meinte, sie wäre einfach nur manchmal ein bisschen trarig, wenn sie an New York zurückdachte, lächelte ich sie aufmnternd an.
So I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we came from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.

Mir fiel kein Grund ein, warm ich freiwillig von New York nach Lima, Ohio ziehen würde, aber vielleicht hattes sie es ja auch gar nicht freiwillig getan. Als sie leicht betrübt auf ihre Stiefel sah, sah ich sie leicht verwirrt an. "Hey, alles okay?"

Mein Bruder geht auch auf diese Schule und ich achte auf ihn!" *meinte ich und guckte leicht betrübt auf meine Stiefel*

"Jap, genau...Und woher kommst du, wenn du noch nicht solange auf dieser Schule bist? Oder hast du einfach nur die Schule gewechselt?" Fragte ich sie interessiert und hob eine Augenbraue.

Sagte ich mit einem freundlichen Lächeln auf den Lippen. "Ich? Ich bin ein Junior und du?" Fragte ich sie eben so neugierig, wie sie mich.
